Maps will be allocated for the group stages of the tournament.
Only once we are into the final stages will the teams be able to choose a map each per round.
Once final entry numbers are known the amount of rounds per side (CT, T) will be finalised.
Cs maps are not usually used, but we thought as Italy & Office are popular maps we would include them. Italy & office will not be used as the allocated maps for the group stages and will only be used if a team picks these maps in the latter stages of the tournament.
unlike bomb maps, you can kill the hostages, and prevent the main objective being completed and it coming down to a last man standing.
on a bomb map this cant happen.
what if a team kills hostages (it normaly happens every cs map, even if its just bad luck)

There are hostage ladders on clanbase and I always wondered if there are special rules for them, but I couldn't find anything about that on the clanbase site. So loosing money when killing hostages is obviously considered as enough punishment. It feels strange that CTs can win a round by rescuing half of the hostages and killing the rest of them though.

tbh with 3 against 3 the likelyhood of actually rescuing the hossies before killing all 3 of the opposite team will be very hard. One guy can possibly take out the entire team in one burst from his M4/AK.
