update:

ive made a program to allow you to get the beta GUI.
use this program at your own risk
also, you have to close steam before you run it

Started Steam this morning and it updated - to show the update progress it show the old style GUI - looks like some coder missed that bit

i beleive they just turn the new skin on with a "switch" atm
