I know this mite sound a bit silly. But i need a new mouse mat, has to be one for an optical mouse, as the normal ones just aint good, the mouse dont work properly.

I see a nice glass one and an aluiminum one. Even ones with 4 usb ports and bloody lights round the edges, all around the 20 quid mark, bet expensive for a mat tho.

Any recomendations?

Thanks

Hmm, like the one i see, was a frosted glass mat in mapins for 20 squid, i wish id got it now, over the limit now so cant drive and get one.

Even the alui ones looked cool, i see some on ebay and you could have your name or whatever etched onto em.

A bit of metal sounds good, i'll be scanning the house for an old video case or something similer so i can get me jigsaw out and cut the case up and use as a mouse mat, super clue it to me desk and away me goes.

Probably end up cutting me hand open tho, i'll live.

God-Like: http://www.razerzone.com/

if not that, i would go with a MS mouse, they last ages and all the ones ive had are fine.

I'v got both Logitech G5 and Razer Diamondback, each on SteelPad 5L...G5 is more comfortable but a little heavier, Razer is more precise and config allows for more. Also Razers gliders give more freedom, just push it slightly and it goes to the opposite side of the pad BUT it's difficult to learn how to hold it - no support for Your thumb, it just lies on pad.Razer is also very flat in comparision to the others, must get used to it.
After few days with Razer, I prefer it despite that I'v been using G5 for more than a year.
aaahh...one more thing...Razers buttons are very sensitive! Be cautious of accidental clicks!
End

PS. Logitech MX 518 sucs...got this one too

Heavy? My el budgeto Ģ6 one isn't... infact it's still going stong after years of abuse.. I don't even have a mouse mat, just this shitty desk. Considering I can still own I don't think you need any more..
