Yes spend a day away from the PC, come back and turn it on to the worrying clunk of a hard disk going down the spout. Twas my Windows system disk (my documents still safe for now..) and i'm a little miffed.
Right now Linux can't find the disk to the point that hda(1,) is now hda(0,).
So, oh great wise ones...
a) any way to get the data off myself b) know any good cheap data recovering types?
The administrator has disabled public write access.
