I used to be able to watch dvd's using mediaplayer but now I think a codec must not be working as I can watch dvds on anyother player on my pc (real, vlc, nero) but for some reason not media player.
any ideas??
and im sure its not my crossfired HD3870s and and ATI / AMD (for Frog who tends to blame that)

Just use winamp. That should work fine. Or whatever other mediaplayers you have that you say work fine anyway.

yes I can use other programs but I would like to know why mediaplayer no longer displays dvds or how i can fix it.

I seem to recall mine got updated within the last couple of months (could be wrong though)
