I'd just like to stick my oar in after the fact.
I own both a ps3 and a 360. the ps3 is much better for these reasons.
1. It doesnt sound like a jet engine taking off when u start playing a game.
2. It has blu-ray as standard (hd video downloads over the internet for the 360 are only 720p)
3. rechargable wireless controllers as standard
4. It makes me happy
Although the 360 has this going for it
1. the controller feels nice.
just for anyone else trying to decide.
