As for this thread, it was a poor attempt at trolling.
OP got lamed for not reading the valve TOS/Subscriber Agreement and was corrected by DougV (using the classic "the link is not hard to find" style).
As for the ban reason (spamming music) [KM], Valve and even your ISP has every right to shut you down.

Valve: - Pissing other players off - Distributing copyrighted content via their services
Your ISP: - Breaking "online services" rules & TOS - Uploading copyrighted material to a remote IP
Notice the pattern here?

Impairing gameplay as 1/3 of the server doesnt care that he mic spams music, 1/3 encourages him and 1/3 bitches at him (AKA you guys)
Copyright infringment laws, ah i thought we might hit a snag here, Trunkmonkey hasn't infringed on any copyright laws. The equivilant to accusing him of doing so is accusing me of copyright infringment just because I took my Ihome and plugged it in at a party to spam music there for peoples enjoyment. He hasn't claimed to own any of them and as far as I know hasn't tried to sell any of them. Now you want to raise the pissing other players off concern, thats fine n dandy unless you select few comprise the entire steam community. You speak like your oppinions are the only ones that matter and the people that like the music in game dont get a say? Trunk monkey has been doing the music deal for a great while now and hasn't recieved shit about until he got to your server.
I will tell you what YOU have broken (not the husband aside from the threat to have his account banned thats another rule entirely) You have been harassing him when we have brought this subject forward peacefully but you insisted on dodging and harassing him. (Frog had been okay up until hinting that I may be a forum troll, which I assure you I am not.) Alls Trunkmonkey wants to let this go is a simple apology for the harrassmant/threat and we can let it go.
