The issue that is to be continued is the one where you threatened to have mr. Trunkmonkeys account "killed" I would like you to note mr Husband that Trunkmonkey and I find your screenshot evidence a bit sketchy as knowing a "DougV" from valve, putting that asside however as we have already PMd Doug on Valve forums and recieved a reply. As you can see in this screenshot of a the pm Doug himself has given us the same reply we recived from the other 3 moderators. But your response to this might be, "TehTrunkMonkey is breaking Rules of Conduct" If this is the case please show us where the rules of conduct have been breached.

Excuse me Corpgus - but I have no idea who you are, and am not required to justify or verify myself to you in any way.
Straight from the Code of Conduct.
You will not: Restrict or inhibit any other user from using and enjoying Steam services, software or other content. Micspamming "inhibits" my enjoyment considerably! I can't hear other players talking. I have to listen to someones choice of music and have no choice in the matter. It's called spamming for a reason!
How about passing on the Valve mods advice to Trunk.
Ultima V|RUZ wrote Nothing from either party is required. You cannot be VAC banned or account disabled for actions that aren't against the EULA (like this case). He is obviously lying to you, but it would be in your best interesting not to annoy people with the music-over-voice feature to avoid server bans Trunk is a dick, and will continue to be so, while he thinks it's funny to ruin peoples enjoyment of games by micspamming. If people want to listen to music whilst playing it should be their choice, and not have it inflicted on them!
By all means, continue to use the forums, but drop this subject, cause as you can see, no one else is interested.

From Steam subscriber AgreementValve may terminate your Account or a particular Subscription for any conduct or activity that Valve believes is illegal, constitutes a Cheat, or which otherwise negatively affects the enjoyment of Steam by other SubscribersFrom Steam Online ConductUpload, or otherwise make available, files that contain images, photographs, software or other material protected by intellectual property laws, including, by way of example, and not as limitation, copyright or trademark laws (or by rights of privacy or publicity) unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents to do the same.
Use any material or information, including images or photographs, via Steam in any manner that infringes any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary right of any party. From the above we can take that playing music violates 2 of Valves rules for the usage of Steam. It both negatively affects the enjoyment for other users and is technically a breach of copyright as you are using someone's IP in public without their express agreement. If anyone wants me to point this out to Valve's support then let me know.

I wasnt going to post, but I guess I will now.
Haha at the restricting/inhibiting any other user from enjoying steam services. Do you even know what those words mean? It basically means to prohibit, restrain, cease and desist. I dont restrict/inhibit enjoyment.
When someone spams you dont have a choice..haha! You DO have a choice in the matter, its called muting, kicking or banning from the server.
With the power to block out my voice chat, how can I restrict/inhibit your enjoyment?
And like me and Corpgus said in previous posts, we "micspam" for a purpose, not just to cause little kiddies to whine in game about it. So what if I am a dick, at least I dont restrict/inhibit enjoyment when alot of people enjoy the music I play.

The agreement is really very simple, it's worded in such a way that if you piss them off they can ban you. Open to interpretation? Yes, because that way it covers more eventualities.
Doug says you wouldn't be banned unless you'd broken the rules and comm has pointed out two rules that you've broken.

You can try to justify your actions however you want, but you fundamentally broke the rules and got banned for it.
