de_aztec emptied the server last night. From 18 to 4. Something I noticed it do a couple of times. I love aztec but on public server it seems majority of players have bad associations with this map:

1) Bad FPS
2) Team stacking
3) CTs have advantage on pub due to co-ordination required from Ts to win on here.

What do people think about removing aztec from the server as an experiment?

Aztec will be replaced by de_crane.

yeah might as well, if it empties the server.

Once side always dominates on Aztec and for some reason people rage quit on it more than on other maps

need a good team balancer for it to work.

Buy a better computer.

Auto assign is forced on the server.

Aztec has been like that FOREVER tbh!

Doesn't stop stacking, it's easy to fool and all you need is for Ts to ragequit

CS: Source is an old game graphics-wise, if your machine cant handle what the game has to throw at it i would say it's time to upgrade or imo

it may be easy to fool but i wouldn't think of doing it... maybe it's the players, not the map...

1. Yes. technology has advanced since most CSS maps where created.

2. Jesus Zat, i always told you off if i could be bothered.

3. Aztec is a great map, 2nd to Office for me. What fucks me off is when people screw the general play up.

Aztec is shit on Public servers. Is now, always has been and always will be. The last time I enjoyed Aztec was when Zat, Hud, Reign and myself decided to prove a point to an ex-km-p-member who said Opē were shit when we were't playing properly.

I went from second on cts (behind said ex-member) to ts with the others as someone swaped teams when he ranted at them for being shit making it 6cts and 5 ts. He rage quit after being embarrassed repeatedly by the people he said were shit when he was on the side that should win easily.

I enjoyed that but it must have been pretty shit for the cts who were stuck in the middle and just wanted a fun game.

Aztec is unbalanced due to T not working together.

The map itself is designed for T to be 100% offensive while working as a group - this never happens on a public server, so T often fail
