When your shouting "fuck km" would you expect me to say "sorry sir, what can I do to solve your problem?"

I'm not sure if you work in customer services or something with people shouting "fuck <your company name here>" at you all day - but that kind of stance on a situation does not normally result in a constructive conversation.

wow, the last five posts are exactly what I was afraid of.

I respect all of you and your servers. If I didn't I wouldn't have tried to put my criticism in a nice yet critical way, I would have just made some shallow insults and left.

Do not confuse this with caring about the ban. I made the rest of the comments (as I blatently said in my first post) seperate from the ban, either in response or just to try and clarify my points that seem to be being missunderstood.

You guys banned me. Fine, nothing said after the first post cares whether you keep my ban. I respect the decision made. I also made criticisms about some things about your server. this was, in itself, such a courtesy as to add further opinion to help you better the server, if you find my concerns to not tailor to your wants or needs or if they don't represent any other portion of your populous ignore them. I am not making demands, nor am I endearing myself for the ban, I let that speak for itself. Whether you take my comments, I don't care, but don't say I'm either making demands OR being disrespectful to the people here. Rome was a republic, built as such by the people, and I am not one of your people so i know my opinion doesn't count for much, but take it as you will. Again, it is meant neither as a demand nor to be disrespectful.

Commanche, I semi care simply because it was a mistake of mine to make such a broad statement, at the same time it was rather poor show to simply ban a player for it without warning or any other action. I don't expect you to cater to players as pointed out earlier, but I didn't expect a well run server to endorse admins simply banning on a stupid comment like that as a first offense. I thought better of your servers so I came to the forums.

As for the rules comment, sorry, it was unnecessary. It was a remanent of my previous argument I had started writing before I remembered why the hell I even said "fuck km". But I noticed a lot of other ban requests were due to grieving noobs, and not knowing why I was banned at the time, I was covering all the bases. Of course have your own opinions. if none of you have any other questions or just want to post anti American videos because you are either too prejudiced or stupid to follow along and look at my post from something other than a defensive perspective, good day to you. I'm banned, and no one seems to want my opinion because I'm a "yank". Thats the shallow generalizations I could make if I was as uncaring and immature as Commanche and just bothered with his lack of perspective.

I believe unban threads are probably the most entertaining by far. It is particularly fascinating witnessing cpatton claim that reading the full post would help Comm be less of a bigot, but he then bests himself by attributing my comments to Comm.

It is, however, nice to see that this particular individual, although desperate to impress through his use of the English language cannot understand even the slightest attempt at humour.

As for the extent to which you care, you do not help yourself by changing your stance on the matter. You either care about the ban or you don't. If the latter is correct than why continue? You do help in reinforcing American stereotypes which is amusing.

2 cpatton. I don't understand why you are wasting your time explaining yourself to us 'ignorant lot' if you don't even care about the outcome. If you would like to be unbanned I am trying to gently point you in the right direction. If you just want to chat to people who are obviously making fun of you, please be welcome. Just note that admins do not tolerate this behaviour for very long, and if this conversation continues the topic will be locked.

From the conversation so far we have realised:

1) You weren't happy with the way we handled your ban. You expected some kind of warning.

2) You don't like the way the server is run and you think that admins want to receive a love letter when someone wants to get unbanned.

3) Because of point 2, you don't really care about the outcome of your posts.

Now, we understood the following:

1) You have broke our server rules. Please have a look at our Banned section. Most of people cought and banned are absolute retards. If you ask me, that suggests that the rules are quite relaxed. When a ban is constructively debated, the players get an unban.

2) You have shared your opinion about our server administration. Thank you for this. I am sure your points will be taken into consideration.

3) Now, we aren't quite sure do you want an unban or not? If you want an unban could you please write a conclusive post, explaining why should we unban you and how can we be sure you will not break the rules again. 100 words max, please. That would be enough.
