Hello everyone this is Cyber-Kun.
Apparently I have been banned for the KMs Empire server.
The reason given was a bad commander, but I don't remember doing anything to piss anyone off in that server.
Could someone please show me why I was banned.
If a reason could not be shown, can I request to be removed from the ban list?

The map was Isle and you took command of your team.
The game started off ok, but your team failed to neutralise enemy barracks close to the main at the start of the game, so this resulted in the team’s resources being put into defending their base. While your team were defending, the other team were free to secure refineries and this resulted in a paper light tank rush once they built a VF.

While recovering from this rush, and having your men pick off what was left of the light tanks, the opposing com researched paper heavy tanks (skipping meds) followed by some armour and weapon upgrades (which were only finished researching at the end of the game).

After the opposing paper heavy tanks started to roll in and your team began to get beaten back you started to complain about the server having “super fast resources” and this was the reason for your team failing.

I personally notified you of the fact the server is using default resources and you ignored this and continued to moan about “these kind of servers”.

After giving up on commanding and leaving the CV unattended with the message “if anyone wants to command now, feel free” you proceeded to try and attack the opposing team with what little resources your own team had left.

Realising that there was no hope left, you changed your complaining about server resources into a “lets all go to the JPL server” stance and proceeded to publicly advertise and invite players to your own clans server, of which a handful of players followed you – presumably under the impression that the server was running with a modified config that degrades the quality of the game.

So, to summarise:

- You were moaning about server resources being changed because you failed as commander and used this as an excuse.
- You were notified of the default resource settings when you started moaning (by me personally)
- You ignored the notification you received and continued to moan
- You proceeded to advertise the fact that you were leaving the server to go to your own clan server (multiple times in public chat & voice coms)
- You were successful in convincing other players to play on your own clans server taking them from the [KM] server.

Therefore you were banned for being a bad commander not only for neglecting your responsibilities to your team, but convincing them to leave the server.

I do thank you for a nice reply, unlike other server admins your reason is nice.

Sorry, if the servers is using default rate isle is seriously screwed up. They have had about 10 heavys and we where getting about 8 resource a second. Seemed imposable to have normal settings but I disregard the fact the money could be based on map. I shall check that sometime today.

I tried to rush as sometimes Caggers and I can in fact kill the enemy. Unluckily for me Skies made the tank first, so I had to use his. He didn't have enough armor so I died, so sad.

I did in fact advertise others to go onto the JPL server based on seeing 10 or so heavys. This is once again based on the fast money idea but it could be Isle, I do need to test that now.

1) I was in fact under the idea of fast money, so that is true.
2) Didn't believe you as I have no clue of the KM clan structure, so I thought you where some random guy. Based on seeing fast money, I assumed it was server when it could be the map now.
3) I'm so used to people flaming me when the don't know what they are saying, so even if you had a point I could of been ignoring you. Didn't see any direct warning to, shut up or get banned so I didn't care at the time.

Yea, especially when they turn into a in-depth analysis of tactics. That's why i like Empires tbh.
I remember you from playing on other servers CK, haven't seen you playing much on our server before.
Blaming your team for losing is lame. Win as a team or loose as a team!
Abandoning the command vehicle when things are going shit is more lame.
Blaming the server for losing is even more lame.
Now how hard is it to understand when playing on a server with [KM] in it's name and somebody with [KM]-tag is telling you that resources/money is default on the server?

Poaching players from our server after you have buggered the round is überlame.

Now i'm not saying that I'm a good commander, but at least I don't blame others when losing a game.
You have some really good players in your clan. Maybe you should take some of them as a guide how to command tbh.

I hate to sound egotistical, but why could it not be the team? I have played this game for a while and I have seen some crappy teams.
I did abandon the command vehicle. We where about to loose, and the only other chance the team had is for a rush. I know that rush failed, but that was the only other way we could of won.
Having ten or so heaves north of us, looks a lot like fast money. Even if NF was getting 14 tickets a second, it would take at least 10 or more minutes if the team wasn't researching.
I had a bad game and I wanted out of the server.

I know this whole thing wasn't my best showing, but I'm normally not as confrontational. I know you have heard this before but I would love to get unbanned.
My reason for getting unbanned is other people I know do play on your servers and I would like to play with them.

Well with the bad team thing, I just get aggravated when it is always the commanders fault but not the teams fault. You can check the Empires forums, there is always rants on how this happens.

Anyways about the advertising, the people I where talking to wanted out of the server. People who liked the server would of stayed and did.

Now about the perma-ban, can't we just say I was having a bad day or something? I'm not normally a complainer and a perma-ban is harsh. I didn't suicide the commander nor kill us all on purpose. I know I did bad in that game, and I could even see a 1 week ban, but yes... I don't think one game is worth enough for a perma-ban. That is why I am trying to get the idea reversed.
