Development: Ban Lists

Ive written a bit of PHP to allow people to see who is banned on our servers.

I'm just letting you guys see what I've been up to development wise recently...

The full list of Admin bans is HERE

The full list of cheat detections is HERE

There are also links at the bottom of the page to allow server owners to download our ban list in valve-server format - If you need help setting this up on your server to use our ban lists feel free to contact me.

These pages are subject to change and relocation - they are a demonstration & simple tool for Admins to use.

More to come in the future...

Its completely automatic & the data is updated every 30mins

Updated to allow other server owners to download a banlist which can be installed on their server & fixed some performance issues.

This will allow people to setup auto-updating & installation of our ban lists onto their own servers.

However, it does still remain under heavy development - so it may change at any time...

You should change the admin bans to "being a tit" or "annoying moby".

The only problem is that "annoying moby" would mean I'd be eligible for a ban

I did think of it, but we would have problems as the existing bans do not currently store that information.

When I originally planned it I didn't see a great need for it as the bans would be global and in effect on all our servers anyway.

what do you need the info for? maybe I can pull it out of the logs with some magical regular expression.

As Comm says... Just to clear it up and easily check which server is attracking hackers...

Not too bother about historical stuff, handy as this is gonna stay for a while I assume.
