lol - Dunno if you heard but XP service pack 3 is on the way. I (cof cof) have had a good look at the Beta. It produces a 10% performance increase in WinXP!!!! Vista SP1 is also due to be released shortly. I have removed all trace of Vista from my machine, so I haven't been able (or wanted) to take a look at it. From what I have heard/read the beta testers are saying there is none of the performance increase promised by Microsoft, ie Vista still sucks.

The moral: Stick with XP!

does that 10% increase mean that they are gutting XP so that it looks and feels like win2000?

I installed Vista on ‎02 ‎November ‎2006 and I'm more than happy with it as an OS and I'm sticking with it...


Now got 2 machines on Vista and the 3rd and final will be upgraded this weekend.
