pres wateva button u press 2 get up ur bios @startup n look 4 something called os install mode or the like n make sure its set 2 off.

generally the only time u can fuk a bios is when ur flashing it.

When ur comp hangs @ shutdown pugs it normally means uve got a program running thats stuck in aloop and wont shutdown.can u do aprintscreen of ur running processes n post it here?

Well re-installed it and it works fine, even got my 2 gig ram back, chuffed.

if i doubt, reformat. frog will tell you how may times i have done this

Your not the only one, i was just gunna do that, but just couldnt be arsed to back up everything i wanted, which is quiet a lot.
