Well...

I added "Portal : First Slice" and it's didn't appear - so looks like you won't get it, if you've already got Portal installed.

1st slice is the "portal demo", so you can have both the demo and the full version.

You can probably only do this once with your current GPU though - so watch out if you want to save the games for another account

Update:
All though you can have both the demo and full game - apparently if you own the full version of portal the demo does not show up.
