Before my format I could play these files no problem in my browser (firefox) after my format they dont seem to play.

Click on a .wmv file and it downloads/buffers normally then when it says its done, nothing.

Am I missing a plug-in? I did read something when I tried to find an answer to the problem saying to make sure I had WMP up to date. Done that and I still cant play them

gah i hate wmv's in the browser......

chances are you had something installed before that made it work... i'm guessing something in a codec pack or.. some kind of thing like that ;]

Maybe was Frog. Milf's tip works tho Cheers.

Didnt have the whole WMP window thing before though, so as Frog says was maybe a codec thingy.

Working now anyway
