lol we had a debate about racing games, better on PC or Consoles and I said PCs

and I'm sticking to it tbh, racing games are far better on PC unless ur a spaz who needs a wheel and can't handle driving with the arrows

For Racing games, it can be console or PC, it's all down to decent controls... You need pedals to control the accelarator usefully - "on" or "off" which you get with keyboard controls is poo.

My only experience of online play on a console was Motorstorm on PS3 on a wireless connection. Basically, it was crap and laggy to hell - I blame the wireless TBH.

most probably laggy because it used a P2P network to send the game data between players...

I had to play CSS on wireless for a few months, and it was fine ;]

Ahem, I think you will find the original Sensible Soccer is the greatest multiplayer gaming experience pre-interweb. Although Road Rash for the megadrive comes a close second, nothing like smashing your mates in the face with a length of pipe while driving down a road at 180 mph. Golden Eye for the N64 was a top game too. Oh and Speedball for the Megadrive, total carnage ftw. Nuff respect goes out to PGA golf on the Megadrive, for a more "relaxed" gaming experience.

well...it's not absolute true...i'v been using some tunneling soft for my xbox together with my pc ( still need it ), allowing to create my own server for Halo in example, allowing other players to join me...but console sucks anyway coz you cant type in game and if U are unable to use a mic ( late at night for meh) U cant comunicate

Flaps has it there. Speedball 2 Brutal Deluxe (just remade with the original and a new game and released on 360 and PC)and Goldeneye: Best. Games. Ever. (pre interweb)
