no not at all, the recommended specs on their website suggest you only need 64mb of ram (in total), and indeed its probably true.

Currently my instance is using just over 9mb of memory (including what it has "paged") and thats with everything enabled

It'll subside after a while, once the firewall learns what programs you use regularly. At least I should think so. Haven't tried this one out yet, but thats what generally happens.
