i dont like them...

main negative points:
- the physical screen is way to small
- you get more screen res on a gameboy
- 4gb is low, 16gb or 32gb would have been nice

who would buy them...?

a bit too small for a student to do any work on, the screen res makes it imposable to use MS Word with any decent results (or without going blind).. and the fact you'll have a hard time running windows anyway means you wont even have access to Word.

the same goes for the work place, jobs etc...

the only real use i can see is if its got a TV output, it could be a nice thing to have sitting ontop of your TV streaming media to the screen... but for a bit more money you could build yourself something with the same power, but in a case that can hold a hard drive, PCI cards.. TV Tuners.. a remote... etc...

the device isnt that small... there are small laptops which come pretty close and have nice screen sizes. There are also far smaller things on the market with the same power... just with a higher price.

no sale

Yes but it's a flash drive so no moving parts. There's an 8 and a 16 version coming along.

Judging by how many they're selling, lots of people!

ive slept on it, and i still think the only good use for this would be to sit ontop of your tv.

i would not be able to stand the screen res, keyboard size and bat life. As you know, some uni lectures can be hours long.. you dont want your lappy quitting on you while your squinting to try and make notes on that game boy screen..

I'm normally one to adopt these kind of things (and usually want to buy them) .. but i guess being a laptop owner, and heavy laptop user while at uni, ive come to learn that things like bat life, screen and keyboard size are the only key things... and this product fails on all 3

I still think you're trying to be a little to rational on this. If you really sit there and take notes with a laptop this isn't the one for you. If on the other hand your bored and want to watch some crap on youtube using the uni wifi, it is very much the device for you.

pen and paper is what I use to take notes at uni, usually those with laptops take fuck all notes and just spend the lecture hoping every1 notices they brought a laptop in
