It is nothing like the original. I played the original loads and I loved it. TF2 is better. Worth every cent. Only approx £27 for 4 games, cant beat that.

back in the days of TFC killing SG's took skill...
not just click it a few times and run away like a little PUSSY

also, you had a FLAG to take to the caps, not just a bunch of invulnerable fat bastards sitting on the cap...

with no flags the attacking team gets players at ALL cap points and takes the whole map in SECONDS

you cannot defend ALL points, so the defending team does not even try and just defends the LAST cap point, giving up the whole map apart from the last bit.

as if its not hard enough being a defenceless sniper anyway, they add some CSS shit scope... and add some power up bar for the noobs to see that the dot getting brighter means the shot has more power....

i guess they had to add it after they obscured the view of the dot with the heap of shit SCOPE

I like quite a lot of the "cartoon shit" you are complaining about. It is at least entertaining when you die so you don't get so incredibly irritated.

I seem to remember from TFC that if the engineer died all his equipment went too. Now at least it stays so you can set up and then go and have some fun.

The "any noob" is a bit wrong. They still need to earn it. OK so at the start it's fairly easy to get one but spies should go around and kill the medics before they get anywhere near invulnerable trouble land.

TFC was good fun but it wasn't as much a team game. It WAS possible for a scout to get through, nick the flag and escape. Sentry guns are FAR more powerful than they used to be so everything is ramped up to encourage teamwork. That is after all the whole point of the game. It's even in the friggin' NAME!!!

Im not gonna bother quoting frogs flame... Just wanted to say: For someone who says he hates it you do a very good impression (in game) of someone who likes the damn thing.

And Comm you would moan about it if you found yourself in a tropical paradise surrounded by beautiful women.

TF2 rocks. I played the original Team Fortress and IMO this is a superior game. We all asked for something special and we got it. Also remember this is a beta, so valve still have a bit of fime tuning to do.

sorry i missed the update, ive been offline the passed 48hrs or so from being i'll in bed

all updated and ready to go again now though - so no excuses for playing on other lower quality servers like you traitors did when you couldn't get on ours

i'm thinking of dropping our 2nd TF2 server and putting the slots all into 1 server...

this should give us a 48 player no problems, but ive herd there are stability issues once you go over 32 players.... so to begin with maybe i will just up it to 32 players and see how it rolls,

what do you guys think?
