Does any one know where i could get free anti virus software for vista is the only thing missing on my new hard drive Oh and yes I own a copy Of vista which i got for naft all thanks to Dell but half my fookin drivers dont work but thatll be sorted this afternoon

AVG and Avast both work under Vista.

Not always possible...

I've just bought a SFF box, preinstalled with Vista HP, and there are NO motherboard drivers available for XP!

XP won't install on it cause it needs 3rd party SATA drivers to be installed - and again, these are not available for XP.

what box did you buy?

if theres no drivers then some bod will write one if there is demmand... thats how linux gets its open source drivers

Now sitting quite happily and quietly under the TV in the front room.

Had initial issues with WiFi USB adapter, but turned out different drivers from Belkin were needed (hence the consideration of an XP install). Apart from that, Vista HP running on it fine and dandy, with no complaints.

Being used as a media server and download engine.

im going to be building me one of these when i get some money
