I wasn't on the server, and I've not talked to anyone about this matter, but the details in your last post do jump out.

Using the execuse that no KM member asked you to stop, or that a KM admin didn't step in doesn't help at all. It just means that you were happy to mess about and piss off other players on our server until you were caught basiaclly!

rofl i wasnt on the server but this is hilarious, i love those logs which dont show anything tbh. all i see is 3 people being abusive to 2 others and i even see a KM member being TKed in what seems to be an unprovoked attack. i am of course assuming grandpa got banned too for unjustifiable TK of a KM member. lol cham

i dont see warnings from members or admins, and i DO NOT condone such behaviour (ed and matey's tht is) i just think random bans like this one is not very nice seeing as they both play regularly and have never had any problems with KM before.

I also feel the need to reiterate the fact tht master beef is often abusive yet i have never seen any1 complain about him ...

i think this whole incident is a shame, i hope the ban is lifted.

fair points, but if there was no radio spamming, beef would have never got pissed off (and who ever the other guy was?).

i think we can agree the problem lies with radio spamming, which was started by the 2 people banned.

im not sure whats going to happen to the [KM] member involved, i think its quite lame there are signs of them spamming radio to join in - im sure the [KM] staff will want to dig deeper and find out what he did.

its not the job of [KM]'s staff to tell off naughty players - its not like they are kids - people were sending me (and the other staff) messages saying there was a problem, so a ban was made.

as i said before, i was on my way to the server, and if i found people spamming the radio (as reported), i would have banned them.

Oh come one peeps.. So someone pissed someone else off by spamming some pre set sounds someone attacked people on their own team.. mmm last time i checked this was a game and if anyone takes it this seriously i'll me more than happy to play them at rojambo ( you can go first i have balls of steel.

But seriously.. from what is in that log there is nothing or noone giving anyone a warning from someone offical saying to shut up so an unwarned ban is a bit drastic in imo

tbh if someone pisses me off or i've had a bad day i'll be damn right abusive to the first nob jocky that crosses me... I'll verbally rape them until i feel satisfied that they know just how im feeling.. then i'll make a quick exit.. satisfied in the knowledge that im feeling much better..

i simply believe the ban is a bit steep, i am not questioning the banner as an admin btw, couldnt care less who did it.

i dont either believe cham should be "inspected" tbh i did not mean to drag him into this if it is to cause trouble for him

and although their behaviour was childish, beef's reaction as unnecessary and uncalled for. he is not an admin and however respected he may be on KM server, you must realise he does not pull ANY weight when it comes to such matters ?

I thought a simple kick ould have taken place with a reprimand from an admin.

It was never our intention to annoy the server or to get cham in trouble...

I was unaware of judge or chaotix telling us or warning us to stop, evidently i've overlooked these warnings.

Im sorry for annoying the entire team by radio spamming after the TK, however the 2 or 3 radio commands before the shut the fuck up and TK do not im my mind justify his outburst.

I found master beef exceptionally annoying and i responded in a manner akin to his own. I would of listened to anyone approaching us in a civil manner as i have seen KM admins do so in the past. Apparently some of you tried, for overlooking this i apologise.

This all seems a bit harsh to me and slightly counter productive. Although radio spamming does my box in it has happened before and been solved without such draconian action being taken. Forgiveness is divine so they say.

I havent read all of the posts as i CBA with all the petty squabbling as ive been at work for 13hours today.

I did the bans, it was not down to one non-KM, or as i like to refer to them "A player on our public server".. I had several complaints within 5mins from KM and pubs, and as most KM know i dont like being disturb whilst i am at work, esp when i have done 20hours of over time since saturday..

I was on rcon as i always am at work or home, and was watching everynow an then.

Seeing as you were being a couple of twats, playing under unknown names to me (edgar), the players on server (doesnt matter if KM or not) told you to stop it several times over you decided not too and piss off main percentage of the gamers on server. If someone TA or TK's someone for no reason then they will be kicked/banned, but when they are provoked its a different story.

Why should i warn you, you were wanking about and you knew it. You might have stopped after a warning, but you knew what you were doing and wouldnt stop after the other ppl on the server asked you to..

I ban, and as most ppl know i CBA to kick.. its not worth it as idiots will always return straight away.

MY Rules of server..
Everyone is equal, everyone is there to have a fun game. Fuck about and piss the majority of ppl off and you will come off worse.

Edgar, i have noted your apology and as i know you i will unban you in due time (sleep and work 1st).. if you come back to settle some petty revenge tho you will be banned again.
