Hmmm well a problem that i hope you guys and girls in CSS land can share your knowledge with me.
Last few months i'll be playing happily and the screen will go blank and i'll get a little message saying 'no signal'
Well i think, i'm drunk and i've kicked the comp so reboot' and back to playing.
As i've not been about due to work i've not worried about it, anyway i've been playing more recently and noticed it's started to do it even when i'm at desktop.
Well i think update my drivers so i do (ati 9800 pro) and i get a silly message about MOM. and CLI. which after speaking with Frog and Hubby and the help of another buddy i finally get the drivers properly installed today.
However 30 mins and bang i get a black screen with white lines. I reboot and come back on 20 mins and 'no signal'
I'm 99% sure it is not the drivers for my card.
Anyone had similar experiences?
Fucking me off tbh especially as i was supposed to play tonight, Grr

Well got a total of 1 hour and 54 mins play tonight then crashed 
Would a new graphics card fix the porblem or am i looking for more

You want someone with another rig so you can test it out, like swap psu around, gfx, try that etc. Instead of going out and buying shit and realizing that it wernt the problem and your have just gone and spent $$$ for nothing

Could also just be the port at the back of ur gpx card messing up, give it a wiggle.  I had almost same thing a month or so ago, was just the adapter at the back my case working its way loose after I didn't tighten the screws up properly. If it aint that then I'd be looking for a new card, 8800gtx are dropping price soon. Hello everyone by teh way, long time no see, hope ur all well  |
