Giving away snipy tips saw some of u guys sniping so though i d give some tips -

My experience - Never double zoom unless there is a considerable Distance or u going for headshot. See alot of u double zooming thinking it s easier but just use single for pot shots and double for those aimed 1s u can't afford to miss.

My own 1 is i Hardly ever use double zoom unless i m going to take a crouched shot. The scout is still not perfectly accurate it can be out by a tiny bit even when stood still.

Also after every shot u fire strafing Jump bk into where ever u ev just come from. Most anti- snipers when trying to snipe u see u strafe out not trying to hit u when ur comin out but on the way bk in the jump *normal* confuses the shit off them and might not hit u as many times or at all.

Don't be afraid to flick out ur pistol when they get close i can normaly hit people even when there close with no zoom but thats because i know scout better than i know my Gf - or my John thomas ( penis ) but time to time i still flick my pistol out and give it a whip !

Also Soz alex but u are the worst for this although u are a good sniper with Awp but nvm

Trying to out snipe someone with a scout when u have a No zoom gun is not gunna work lol

I m sure he won't mind me saying - alex used to have a terrible habbit just that he d run out into open see me go crouch and stay there letting me Strafe out from cover and take asmany shots as i liked at him he s got a very Slim chance of killin me and crouch i shoot for the head anyway .....

Flashes and smoke and even like spraying at a sniper **************************************************

Flashes u don't think it but that puts a sniper of so much he s got 2 un zoom w8 for flash 2 wear of re- zoom find were u are again and how close u are and to do all that he s got to be out in the open

Smoke is okay but most of u use ur m4s with out slincers and the flash from u gun gives u away if u smoke don't fire until u no u got a good shot i normal see flash and shoot for it gunna hit them regardless ?

Also when ur trying to strafe and trying to get close to me yes ur harder to hit but i m gunna aim more than if u were strafing and letting off a hole clip at me May not him me but by christ it puts u
off

Enough tips for today got a few about gettin running headshots but those will go to the grave with me lol !

good advice mate thanks will be trying that out some time soon cos my sniping is less than poor atm.

lol Lost yes i did have this habit before however I have now got rid of it (hopefully). I am also sniping better with the M4 as some of you can testify. Gonna get better with this but I have a point to make here.

A sniper needs a backup man. My post regarding Formations and moving as a group. If we do this we'll find who works well together. I have on occasion backed Lost up on several maps (Thinking Aztec here the other day) and worked quite well.

Ummmm Some snipers need backup men I agree and on certain maps u may need backup men.

But not all the time but i agree sometimes

Just though i'd share the little knowleadge i have t3 hehe

Lot of pistols saved me from the dreaded close quaters.. or as tom remembers.. we both uses up a full clips of AK/M4 then him on a pistol (normal CT one) then me then I got my knife and stabed him when he was reloading his M4

EDIT: The relevance to pistols is it makes them draw thiers out if they run outta ammo on main gun

great post, this would helped me a lot when i started play. too bad i had to find out the hard way through experimentation. just a quick note, most people seem reluctant to shoot no scope even when they know that they have chance with the pistol (esp T's). In close quarters an well placed awp no scope can safely put down a charging smg and the autonoob is deadly due to its rapid fire and high damage.
