Hmm, Ive only started having this problem this week. Whenever I join a server or the map changes, I get some insane lag, I dont just mean 70 ping, i mean 250 and massive choke and loss.

I've no idea why, theres no viruses, spyware, conflicting programs or in fact any programs running in the background that I know of.

Im not sure whats up, ideas anybody?

Yea i got lag all the time... i've try everything and i now 1 thing its not the WIRELESS thing...

join and mapchange are the places where IE6/7 gets loaded - smells like spyware eating your cpu

or some other crazy IE plugin?...

R mebe ur connections been rerouted?

Its odd, it's a really temperamental thing. It didn't do it much last night but the days before it was mental. Ill have to see what its like today, it may have blown over

Mine used to do that a lot when i was first around the server, it had been doing it for weeks before on others.. that's how I found [KM] It was one of the lower ping servers I could actually join for a while- but I was still reading a ping of 80-100+

I found out by chance that Telewest were doing some work on the lines one day.. the next time i started up CS, magic.. pings back down to 25-30!

It used to lag horribly when I could join some servers too, so it may be something similar..

You'd think being less than a mile from their main exchange building here would help!
