Just thought i might drop in some friendly advice with dedi's as it seems you've been moving round quite a bit.

I'm currently using redstation for all my stuff. Redstation are great, but sadly their upstream provider just almost doubled the prices, so the minimum you'd be looking at from them in £178/mo for something similar to our dedi.

Another option came up recently though, and this is knock your pants off cheap. uk2.net do dedicated servers with either 2000Gb or 10Mbit well peered bandwidth. The boxes look like they would be reasonable, although being that they only really offer NASTY linux distros you might wanna look at freebsd 6.1 with linux emulation turned on (what we're currently running at 100tick 500fps). You should be able to get this from uk2.net for £39/month, one of those boxes should be suitable for a 40 man 100 ticker.

i think your uk2.net server recommendations are a little, off.

there’s no way we could run on a Intel (..pentium?) 2.4Ghz and 512MB'o'ram. (which is the £39 server)

I’m guessing 15 players tops with that
