ok.... as off recently my gaming ability has gone to shite....

maps where i cud usually manage 10-15 kills..... i can only manage about 4-5....

my aiming has gone and flown away.... m4 kills are down.... ak kills have buggered off.... thats y ive been using the m3 shotgun... as it gives great damage close/medium range... and some lucky kills long range.... deagle kills have now become as likely as me winning the lottery...... only my knife kills...

my beloved knife.... how i admire ur owning ability... ur sharpness...ur amusing way u chop up ur victims.....

the casue may have been down to my beloved mouse dying on me...

it was cheap.... but i killed with it.....
ive been thru 5 different mouses... ending up with a £60 mouse ^^

top of the range.... however to no avail.... kill ability is still a shocking sum of lucky hs...mostly fb aided....

ive lost all abilty to shoot long range with anything..... awp no longer likes me either....

ive tried everything....mentally preparing myself for each gun 2 mins b4 hand.....

warming up my hands for maximul responsiveness.....

how ever... i still cant kill at long range/med range/short range....


i need help....

how can i regain my ability to own????

give up trying to kill if youve got a wireless mouse...

its bad enough with the lag from client to server, you dont want hardware lag your end aswel.

also, dont get a huge fat mouse, the lighter and more moveable the mouse the better.

Microsoft hardware is pretty good, dont use their shit software tho.

for some strange reason most hardware like mice and keybords all come with applications that run in the background.

i had 1 with my microsoft mouse, dont know why, no special features on it, just a standard 2button + wheel, but, as i moved the mouse my cpu usage went up as this program was "processing" my movements.

ive now removed the software and im using just "normal" drivers, all works fine, no cpu usage.

if youve bloated your system out with all diferent mouse drivers all running in the background it wont help your computer, so i hope youve removed them.

I think the problem might be a mental block king. As I've now come on the server and have been owning u all the way your mind just can't take defeat and have shut down your hand to eye co ordinations.

a logitech mx510/518 or nice razor mouse coupled with a good mousemat (got S&S steelpad myself) might help you out. try adjusting your mouse sensitivity between 6 and 8, see what fits your style of play best. turn up the brightness in the game and even on your monitor if needed. use net_graph 3 command in the console to check ping, loss, choke and fps and post what it says on the forum. oh, and you drink plenty of caffeine/sugar containing fluids (no, that does not include beer)

I noticed i was playing css the other day and my fps would not go above 60? Is there a certain limit or something as it seemed like it wanted to go higher?

A couple of reasons this may happen.

If you have V-Synch enabled as I do (in your advanced video options) the max FPS is gonna be locked at the refresh rate of your monitor. I've forced my monitor to refresh at 75mhz for the resolution I play at so for me the max fps I get is 75.

Or you could try adding "max_fps 300" in your autoexec.cfg or typing it in console.

just sounds like kingy is making excuses to me.....
