Yep it's that "what broadband" question again! Seems to me at the moment I have two options.
a) Go with BT, £25 line rental (guestimate, doesn't cover such details on the BT website!) and £26.99 for the broadband.. had to get option 3 as 7 students could waste 6GB in a day, tbh i'm not sure the quite frankly stingy 40GB limit is going to be enough, with extra at £1 a GB. On the plus side I can blag a router off them and a switch will cost £8 lol.
b)Telewest. Previous suppliers of the property, but not really that simple as there are three different points in the house where it could start. Been on the phone and apparently 2 are tv and one is broadband. Problem is I have no idea what output said boxes have, and I'd need to get a DSL router as well as a switch to keep all the noobs happy. On the plus side, no line rental that I can tell means unlimited 4MB for £25, worst comes to worst it shapes your bandwidth at peak times...
Which one eh?

i wont get into all the nitty gritty as i have ranted many a time before.. if you want grab me on msn at some point and i will look and see what you have in your area. then make a choice from there..
at the mo, between them 2, i would go for the all in one cable package.. they already have there equipment installed, so no need to pay BT for an installation and you will get faster speed than the BT adsl lines have (adsl2 and adsl2+ are a differant story)
