W00T, I got a speedlink Medusa set. It rocks, especially as it came with its own amp and a massive amount of cables to play around with. Amazing 5.1 sound quality. Whole hearted recommendations from me.
Heck I could be Speedlinks PR manager.

Just what we need behind PCs, more fucking cables!
Between my webcam, palm docking station, joystick, speakers & amp, ditital tv card, ir port, camera dock, mic and an external hard disk on top of the usual power, monitor, ethernet, keyboard and mouse! There be plenty of wires behind there!

I can top that... 3 PC's back onto each other, 2 with 5.1 systems and 5 monitors and associated cabling, web cams, ipod, hubs (IP and US... It's a jungle back there, I only go in with a sharp pair of wire cutters.

Along with my wires ive got empty beer cans, spilt ashtrays and empty crisp packets and sweet wrappers. I dont go behind my desk at all.

I have to admit I dont have just random spare cables. The worst thing for my is that 6 times a year it all has to be packed up and moved to/from uni.

get a laptop and a LCD monitor.. thats all you need, only a few cables and more than enough power to play games.
