Whilst viewing the Karma Clan website today I noticed that they have a server time info thingy-me-bob (sorry don't know the techincal time for it).

As there has been some conversation/discussion/general arguing on teamspeak about GMT v. BST I thought it might be a good idea to have something like this for ourselves - that way when we arrange matches on our server we can say time - 20.00 our server time allowing other clans to see exactly when we mean.

Or i can put 'GMT+1' or 'BST' next to the time of the posts, and if you really want the works a link to timanddate.com to show the international differance..

Perhaps we could have it on the Challenge us page - in the pinned section at the top.

Personally I think adding GMT or BST on the posts isn't gonna help - members of our own clan can't seem to figure it out so god help everyone else

the game server clock is set at GMT i beleive, not sure about the webserver.

Thats exactly it - GMT is one hour behind BST so although I'm making this post at 15:12 BST it would be 14:12 GMT.

If we use server time it doesn't make what timezone your in the server time would be constant GMT - it would save people have to work out the time differences they could just click and look.

Having viewed a few other sites it seems a relatively common thing to have on a site.

I know telling the time should be simple, but it doesn't seem to be and it's the second most common reason for missing matches - I forgot being the first!
