Hubby????? Grass

I was gunna say i slipped and fell on it

No, i took the cpu off, coz of all the shit in my case, wires and water pipes i couldnt get in there to put paste on cpu. Like i do when i use thermal paste i end up covered in it, along with one side of the pins of the cpu, tried cleaning it off with cotten buds, got pised off after i bent a few pins, tried straighting em out, 1 snapped, oh well, thats fucked, amd 64 3500, 150quid i paid for it outta the window, ripped outta the water cooling shit in the process, i blame that for the start of my problems.

Anyway, AMD 64 3800 on its way, brand new, boxed, 97 quid from ebay ftw. will be here monday i hope, now i just hope i aint fucked my MB in the proccess.

ATM, borrowed a crappy pc just to get on the net, no point in installing css as by the time its installed my comp will be ready.

Well that was a waste of a cpu which had nothing wrong with it, i hate computers, shud stick to tinkering with cars.

GFX card is fuckedish, just keeps over heating, now this time i have been carfull with the paste, redone it, didnt get any anywhere, but its still overheating, fan is working fine, so it seems, run ATI tool thingy, got through phase one, started phase 2, crashed.

All i can think off, is yes my gfx card fan does sound like its seen better days, only when i boot up tho, then it shuts up. Is it possible that it could not be spinning at the proper rpm? Im gunna get another heatsink thingy for it anyway, just fucked off wasting money on computers, only to buy something else and its still fucked, = waste of money.

Plz help, gfx card is overheating, WHY? Before i bin it and go back to my shity old 9200, for good, well till next year when i'll upgrade again

The stock fans allways suck, and now with thios hot weather it will have extra trouble handling the heat.

I'd buy the zallman cooler I posted earlier, with the optional fan, it's only 30 euro and cools like hell.

If that doesn't work the card is most likely fucked...

Easiest way to clean your PC out next time is to just buy a can of compressed air, it'll blow all the dust out.

That's one hell of a cooler, that should do the trick
Well installing any PC part is easy, just keep to the manual and NEVER use force

Good luck!

No No No - air lines in garages and the such like contain oil mixed in with the air to lubricate the tools - don't aim inside PC cases!
