OK im gonna double post this so that ppl will see it and then there is no need to ask 'how do you put videos onto the page?'


Ive made a few changes to the forum (again) and you can now post YouTube videos directly into the pages of this forum.

heres how you do it..

go to the YouTube site, find a video you like.
i will use this as an example cos i piss myself everytime i watch it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VA22KcZhEi8

all you need to do is grab the code after the 'v=' from the address bar, make sure you grab just that and not the '&' that might be after that, cos thats your search..

then post it inbetween [youtube]VA22KcZhEi8[/youtube] into a page.. thats it.. simple, now your post will have the video directly in it.

I dunno why but i get the feeling you could expolit this by not linking it into a youtube video but some other content.. That said it looks as if you've chopped the URL around to get from the page URL to the embed URL?

no youcant, seeing as ive made it only for you tube videos, not URLs.. so if you put another code in it will just not work..

if you read above, i said just paste teh code after the 'v='..
