Does anyone who uses steem have problems with pages on this forum loading up? Sometimes mine load without the submit buttens at the bottom when im replying or starting a new topic ( please... no 'take the hint' replys )

Also.. I have installed some 1st player mods for hl2 and they don't apear in my games section in steem... Most of them were .exe installers and it was all automatic but i thought that they would be listed?

Any thoughts?

your asking a counterstrike clan.. i think most people use steam

try and exit steam and see if it fixes the firefox problem. THOUGH tbh, i doubt its causing it since steam and firefox dont even care if each other is running.

next, read this

if you still have the problem when steam is shut down, its firefox (could be a few other things, tell me about your internet connection, ie, a uni connection, home router, usb modem, bit of string and a paper cup..)

not sure what you mean by "games section"...

if you mean the games list, if the installer said it would put itself in that you might not want to connect to any steam servers... as it will have edited your client.

if your replacing the valve models you wont see any diference until your in game.

Lol im suck a noob. I ment to say ' anyone who uses firefox has problems with the forums loading..'

The 'mods' are things like AoA and other halflife spin offs like you used to get for the original halflife.. stuff like sven coop.. remember? I just wondered where these were sposed to show up in steam.. If they are?

I tried to change the knife to a meat cleave with no success so i just deleted all the files i added and its back to normal now.

i use firefox fine with the forum

For me the forum loads twice... First time shows nothing new and the second time shows the random red boxes.

thats something to do with the website's caching i think... tho saying that... caching is probably disabled and it will show you im just guessing

i get the pages loading twice thingy or sometimes infinate loading

Same for me. If I am active on the forums it doesnt show up, but If I leave it for a while and there are a few new posts it shows

i get that, everynow and then ill ceom acros an old thread and say, wtf? i havnt seen that before?
