So im a noob and i installed a new skin for my knife and now when i select it in the game its invisible...

How do i get it back to the way it was originaly?

If i can

was it installed using an installer or did you drop and drag the files into a folder? if you put it in the folder you need to delete waht you put in there. if you installed it uninstall it. if it was a pack though you will lose the whole set of skins/models.

just to let you know though skins and models can be considered cheating as they may give you an unfair advantage over others. I personally dont really see this for guns but you could get player models that are pink

The only skin that i have different is the awp which i never use which is changed to ( the same model ) an old skool wooden sniper.

which is why [KM] does not allow skins in matches (public server is less strict as atm theres nothing stopping a pub skinning up)

and... this is also why ive written a cheat scanner which is 100% effective at finding skins or any other game modification. (as far as ive seen!).

the older members will remember builds of early versions, one of them even authenticated players on the server... lol pissed a lot of people off when it found their skins & they got kicked.

oh, and before you start all crying, there is a "remove & restore" feature planned for the new engine that will allow you to play with a clean client, exit the game, and your previous cheating scum settings are restored, where you are then free to load the game again uneffected.

tbh the whole idea of skins is cool but not on real servers install the wrong ones and your fooked
i think the likes of tetas uses skins as in gloves(on his vids) no advantage and no harm to any match playing but if the clan says no u shouldnt need telling
@ pug the dildo one i first seen that one posted on sbg i think squirrel posted it u can get chainsaws as well
on my game i changed the hossies to women and they even have a wav file for the women speech

To remove dodgy gloves, delete this folder;

C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/accountname/counter-strike source/cstrike/materials/models/weapons/v_models/hands
