the reason i post here you ask the older members of [km] will realise the significance of this and will probably share a little saddness for what has gone on
i saw max's and shadow's post on sbg before it went down and guys i totally agree with what you said
all this caused by people thinking they have a god given right to dictate what happens on a server when they dont even contribute anything
the strange thing i found about the whole situation is alote of people miffed of caesium me included but i can get away from the fact that a guy hell bent on causing as much grief as possible has this time succeeded
hopefully you guys will keep an eye out for these people as i think you might get some of these a.....s on the server now

Agreed. SBG was the first server i felt at home in the game. CSS is something i had been looking for, for many a year. Bart and Cae did everything they could to keep ppl happy yet 2% continued dispite previous warnings to rub them up the wrong way.

If you read this bart or Caesium you know you'll get a friendly welcome here at KM.

Another place to remember the past

Caes did take a lot of stuff too personally but then again for £750 a month I can understand why. Having said that I have seen some admins on publicly funded servers ban people for just killing them in game too much. At least Caes only slapped for that...

As you will se from the above link we have a queue of admins waiting to ban DVD if he turns up on the Opiate server.

ive ermm spent countless hours/days/weeks (and possibly a year) on their server and still to this day remember the first time i went on their server when it was usually empty and still running under the name of newzbin

Without SBG "newsbin" KM wouldnt be here, so i suppose something good came outta it in the end.

Its a darn shame, just shows what happens when people annoy the guys that pay for your gaming time.

To be honest Im sort of surprised it didnt go this way sooner.

I have to agree with the post by Bart and Caesium,

There are a few clans which split off from Newsbin (sbg)...by a random chance it was the first server I ever joined after completeing HL2...where I met Frog, Yoda, Chocolate, wife, Hubby (ithink) shadow and the rest of the early gang...

I found the friendly..and somtimes insulting sence of humour to my taste and never looked back. When I heared that yoda had started a clan and that the others who had already joined were people I got on well with it seemed a good idea...as newsbin didn't have a clan it was just somewhere where people went for a bit of a laugh and kill each other

butI don't know if the 'Old' guys and gals noticed that after our clan got its server up and running and sometimes no-one was on and I joing newsbin or SBG that it just wasn't the same anymore new 'nobs' had joined and it was all wrong not the frendly place I remembered.

I wonder if all the cool 'kids' came to join the KM Krew?.

But anyway I suppose it goes to show that you should respect those that Admin the server as they are giving there own time without much reward (except hubby who got a new PC out of the deal )and those who help pay for the server.

We welcome the public (except those who kill me) and ask them to respect this server as if they were going around someone elses house. And don't moan if we decide to put on a map you don't like, get shot to many times, kick you, burn you, blind you, slap you, abuse you, make fun of your stupid names as that is my job in this clan.

Lots of good thoughts to Ceasium and Bart thanks for the games and feel bad that I never played much on your server after we split.

i played on the server nearly enough from the start and i supposed its had a good innings its just sad the way its gone down

Squirrel, a funny guy, always posted some sort of weird video on the forums when things were slow. All those admins they had, who was the one who kept banning ppl if he got annoyed with them?
