Ok some of you may know ive been getting very high choke and loss. As it is these, i guess its more internet lag rather than graphical.

My res is 1024x768 atm and ive been playing bout with my rates all the time. Ive only touched my normal rate not cmd or the other 1.

Any help?

choke and loss could be caused by your hardware...

best thing to do is go on another server and see if it does the same.

come back and say what happens.

AND - i would also like people who have ping problems to post here as im trying to decide if our server has a problem, or its just down to ISP's

my ISP is OneTel. i always have a pretty decent ping, however, my choke seems to go quite high ocasionaly - something it almost never does on any other server

For quite a while now when i come on the server and at map change my ping, choke and loss increase around 300% then level out to normal however i tend to mis the first round completely. From memory it started around HDR was released.

Originally it was a nightmare but i got it under control and didn't have a problem having HDR on but since the release of Milita my ping problems have got worse and i also have had to turn HDR off. I got 900 ping on Milita Night no matter what settings i changed, i tbh i haven't the slightest idea how i managed to finally play it.

Well that was fun, saw that Milita was on so went on the server. Fps 670, Ping 300 to 760, loss loads and choke. After a bit it stopped and returned to normal. Joined team, killed myself watched CCCP as he shot through the breakable wall and crashed.
