My firewall (Zonealarm) keeps blocking my forum activity - I cant put the emoticons for a start,or upload anything or preview posts without disabling the dam thing. Is this something to do with how forums work or what. Any suggestions re. better firewalls/Windows settings most welcome *smiley face, face with shades on, winking smiley face, wohoo face*

i use ZA, only cos i paid for it ages back.. and i work the forums fine.. have a look at your Ad settings or your priviacy settings. you may have them too high.

It could be your browser.. Get FireFox if you are not using it (click one of the ads above to get FF)

Also get MSN an i can talk you through it if you are still having probs

i use zonealarm and have never had any problems

Tried norton, zonealarm, macafre whatever its called, same as frog and king, kerio ftw, easy to use, (for a noob like me) and never had any probs with it.

I use ZoneAlarm firewall and its been excellent for about the 6 months i've had it, no problems at all
