I think that's a very very good idea Frog - do it, and TF2ers get on and fill up the server. I played on one 32 slot TF2 server and it was, well, the only word to describe it was mental!!

well, not really no.

we have 2 full 24 slots atm, so we would end up having less players...

its more an effect on the game play itself... more slots = diferent feel

I prefer 24 man servers on certain maps. On 2fort 32 man is boooooring, unless you have good teamwork

Dammit he's right - some maps are better with 24 players. If both our servers are full at the mo then lets leave it as is and think about adding a "TF2" section to the forum...

Yea, gameplay on 32 man server is quite shit, because usually both team decimate each other at choke points without much chance of getting to the capture points.

However, it's fun to play as pyro on a 32 man server. Lots of victims waiting there.
Once I jumped from a roof into a crowd of unsuspecting enemies and made 7 kills within 5 seconds. That caused a seizure of entesive roflage on my team.

Lol, really?

Anywhoo - I have a suggestion. First: Change the MOTD
Secondly: Reduce the respawn timers slightly. I think this generally improves the experience. Also it might be a good idea to increase the round time from 5 minutes on some of the maps.

meh motd... i'll do it sometime... got to find something that looks good on that chalkboard crap.

cant change the respawn timers afaik... the map sets them and the game changes them dynamically.

i think the round times are set dynamically as well...

it seams TF2 is "as is" with not much room to change things (i.e. no room)

i will check sometime though
