some people may know i am into a sport called "Airsofting" it is basically css but in real life with replica guns that shoot 6mm bbs. basically shoot each other with bb guns. Its similar to paintballing but gives you a more realistic feel.
The new violent crime reduction bill plans to ban these replica guns and eliminate the sport which is enjoyed by thousands.

The guns look too ralistic - you can get very good replicas of RL guns AFAIK
Too easy for criminals to use them to frighten peeps.
Too easy for a kid with a toy to end up being shot in error. (a guy with a table leg in a carrier bag got shot!)
Should be banned IMO

I used to go paintballing and when I got hit it hurt like hell , It must hurt like crazy when you get hit with a 6mm ball bearing. Bet you'd need some heavy duty protective clothing, like 1 1/4 inch steel plate LOL.

People have been popped by the swat team for allsorts, like gun shaped lighters etc. A chap in Huddersfield who fancied himself as a cowboy had a plastic gun - he got one in the noggin!
They even raided one dealer who was suspected to be armed, and they burst in and gave him the steel. He didnt even have a gun!
