Thanks, Its pretty much the same thing im already using. I can't seem to fix the problem but it doesn't matter anyway because when i played it in the dvd player it corrected it itself.

I use convertx too sometimes but i have a divx dvd player so i don't really need to convert the files to that format any more.
I guess i didn't really explain my problem properly.
The aspect ratio of this certain video i was talking about was showing by default at 19:10 and i wanted to change it to 16:9 All i wanted to know was if the data that tells the file to play at a certain aspect ratio was editable (my new word) without a program converting the file into a new one with the corrected aspect ratio.
I've had a look but i'll just stick to what i was using.
