mmmm that sir, sounds like your PC speaker...
when it starts beeping it means something is very fucked, and it cant get past the POST.
what kind of beep is it? 2 tones? 1 tone? fast beeps? slow beeps? just 1 long beep etc etc etc etc...
each beep has its own meaning

well i didnt have my speaker connected at that time. COuldn the wierd sounds be the graphics card starting up?
right if i dont put my graphics card in i dont hear the beeps so maybe its the graphics card thats making the noises. I didnt have the speakers plugged in btw. The noises were fast.
btw the hiper psu fan doesnt stop spinning after the computer turns off. It only stops when i turn the switch to off on the psu thats not nroaml is it?

thats not normal no... but it depends what youve done. it may think the computer is still turned on . . .
graphics cards dont make noises. so its probably your internal PC speaker.
can you record the sound? then i can tell you what it means. . .

Normaly tells you in the manual what the beeps are? But yes pill had same problem with it beeping, turned out to be a naff gfx card.

i didnt do anything to the psu. Faulty psu maybe?
Well frog can i add you msn so i can send u the sound? i dont know if this is what u mean by beeps but these sounds dont appear without the grapihuics card in. i havent put in the HDD btw. All thats in the computer atm is RAM, graphics card, CPU and PSU.
About what pug said about the gfx card. I changed the graphics card but it didnt help.. so...
