Ok, i havent played css in a few weeks, but first time i do play it im getting very low fps (20-25 on dust2)! So i change graphics down from med to low and change resoluton from 1280x1024 to 1024x768, and i get 9
Not sure why, but any help would be great.

OK need a bit more info.. but make sure..
you have updated gfx drivers you updated DirectX try a defrag Verify game cache do a spyware scan do a virus scan make sure you dont have any other apps open do a speedtest try a local game with one or two bots, see if its the same.
Is that any good Shad? I've noticed my connection has slowed down alot recently when loading pages (especially KM )

Ok i have updated video card drivers, directx and verified by gcfs. With the defrag, anyone know any good programs to defrag, or is there a windows 1?
EDIT: Chocco, that is bad!! I have 1 meg connection, and i took the test with running numerous internet applications and i got 636 downstream and 166 upstream

I'm thinking it might just be something to do with the way i get my internet... Extension from downstairs, and can only be connected when my dad doesn't have his modem plugged in.
I'm thinking its a pretty shit way of doing it.

Ok, I did a defrag over night, and got stuc at 85%.
A question bout O&O, is a defrag comeplete when all boxes go blue?
