how about this , lastnight a few of us moaned about this sort of subject well the fact the cross hair was on a player and the bullets never hit him.
i was thinking forced rates so everyone plays the same .
Judge could tell you more on this as he had it on his server and it worked.

I think you'll find that Valve broke it..
cl_restrict_server_commands 0 forced on all clients means that unless the client changes it the server cannot effect client's rates. I think it can't even make the people die when they are TK punished. I saw someone TKing loads and they kept getting slayed with no effect.

rofl yeah tht was fun, it was like tht before i went on hollies but now im back i get slayed for TKs >.<
rates however are not always to be blamed, the server, the connection and the player's PC are also important factors

our server will keep client's rates at a good level, so any "bad rates" you have seen, are not bad rates.
any problems are more likely to be a bad Internet connection...
just because your cross hair is on a player it does not mean you will hit them

was just on server with master beef he was warping about, he had his rates at 2000, he changed it to 20000 and was fine after that.

the server isnt forcing any rates tbh ive just been on and we have 2 players with rates of 10000 30 20 any fix for this cos im sick of talking ppl through how to do it

25000, 100, 100 are the accepted rates on the server. A few people have them lower due to being in another country, this we allow as they play on the server on a regular basis yet are not members.
